#333 DecoraShawn ExploShawn

It starts...

I picked up a car today, then picked up Marcel and we made our way over to the storage unit. 30 minutes later the house was filled with bags and boxes od Christmas Decorations.

After 2 hours of unpacking we got to decorating... and after 3 more hours, we have the Mantle, 3 trees and three tableaux set up.  3 more trees and 2 more tableaux to go and we'll be ready for Christmas!

Okay, well, we have more baking to do, and gift wrapping and card signing, a bit of shopping, and  a few parcels to ship and THEN we'll be ready for Christmas.  But considering that Dec 1st is only on Monday, we are well ahead of schedule!

I Am so excited and also so tired I can hardly stand it!

#277 Pre-Mature Holiday JubilaShawn

So I took a trip down to The Bay today.

Not newsworthy, you say?

Au contraire, mon ami....  The Bay has opened up it's Holiday Trim Shop.  Christmas is very much there! Not that I'm complaining.

And the place, for obvious reasons was pretty much empty, so I was able to browse about without the annoyance of the crowds.

I didn't buy anything yet. Not that there wasn't tons that I'd like to have gotten, but because everything is full price.  I shall await the sales. And if anything like last year, they start in early November anyway.  And now at this point, i know exactly what I want, and where to go.

So, The Christmas Shop is open very early this year; am I upset about it?  Hell, to the no!.  As two friends posted today on my Facebook wall, I have OCD.

And I'm good with that.

#006 ConfesShawn

Hi, my name is Shawn and I'm a Christmas-a-holic. It's been 6 hours since my last Christmas Decoration Purchase.

To be fair, everything Christmas is 90% off at Target. NINETY. PERCENT. OFF. Not that I need to rationalize or excuse myself. And hey, I only bought 5 boxes of new tree ornaments. Total with taxes: $4.96. It would have been madness NOT to get them! MADNESS!

They're totally not needed. Completely unnecessary.  100% coveted.

To be clear here, I will go back.

This is not a wagon I intend to take a ride upon.
