Well here we are again. 

It's been a little over 3 years since I last blogged. Misster-Kitty still lives within, but he's now on a shelf in my psyche, covered in plastic (to keep the leopard print fresh and safe from fading). 

I've been considering starting a new blog for a long while now; not sure what exactly to blog about, but missing the process.  But what to write about?

To be completely honest, I still couldn't tell you.  But, like many events of my life thus far, I've decided to take a familiar approach of sitting back and vaguely thinking about it forever and then on the spur of the moment just doing it; no plan, no approach, no idea what to do. 

Well okay, I do have a little bit of a plan... I've decided that I'll try this Blogging 'Thing' again and give myself the goal of creating one post a day for a year. 365 days. Honestly, I have no idea if I can do it.  I've seen few of those 365-a-day projects over the years and often thought about doing one.  About the only thing I've been able to decide upon was chronically it in the form of a Blog.  It's the content of that Blog that I've never been able to nail down.  A few thoughts have been a "Pic of the day" Blog where I simply posted a pic taken each day on my iPhone, a "Pagan to Christian Co-opt of the Day" Blog where I discussed each day how a Pagan symbol, ceremony, festival or event had been absorbed or co-opted into Christianity, and even a "Dream Journal" Blog where I posted the details of one of the dreams I had last night. Ultimately however, none of those ideas interested me enough (at this time) to devout a year to them. 

The only other thing I've been able to decide concretely is that the best way to approach the 365 day process in the simplest of terms was to piggyback on the most obvious 365 day process we have, and that is the 'Calendar Year'.  

So this is where I am now. With all the hope and uncertainty of the Year to come, the good, the bad and the fugly. Sure, for some days, I already know what I'll write about, but for the most part, those other 355 days... I have no flipping clue what I'll be writing - and that includes tomorrow, Day One, January 1st, 2014.

Yikes!
