#333 DecoraShawn ExploShawn

It starts...

I picked up a car today, then picked up Marcel and we made our way over to the storage unit. 30 minutes later the house was filled with bags and boxes od Christmas Decorations.

After 2 hours of unpacking we got to decorating... and after 3 more hours, we have the Mantle, 3 trees and three tableaux set up.  3 more trees and 2 more tableaux to go and we'll be ready for Christmas!

Okay, well, we have more baking to do, and gift wrapping and card signing, a bit of shopping, and  a few parcels to ship and THEN we'll be ready for Christmas.  But considering that Dec 1st is only on Monday, we are well ahead of schedule!

I Am so excited and also so tired I can hardly stand it!

#278 Hallowe’en DecoraShawns

Okay, I know I just posted yesterday about the Christmas Shop at the Bay, but today we decorated for Hallowe’en.

The place is over-flowing with Skulls, and Crows, Owls, and Bones, and Severed Hands. Spiders and Snakes, Flies and Centipedes.

We really are kids at heart. Big bloody, disemboweled hearts…

(I blame Supernatural for that last part)

#267 Hallowe'en PreparaShawn

Okay, Christmas is only 92 days away... but there's an important event before that... in 37...

HALLOWE'EN!

And to that end, we've started preparations for this years decorations. Last month Marcel got me a Skull with a crow on top, and this wek I've picked up a faux crow skeleton, some centipedes and some glow in the dark spiders. Oh, and a small glass skull bottle.

All are for inside the house, we're on the 3rd floor and there's no way to see anything we'd put in the windows.  And for the record, we are right downtown so we get no trick-or-treaters either.  And it's very unlikely we'll have anyone over to see them.

We just like decorating the place for the holidays!
