Are you freaking kidding me?!

All the calmness and serenity I gained over the last two weeks, even with all the extra work that it entailed managing 3 people's desks at the office, came to a thunderous halt within 30 minutes of the return of Typhoid Mary.

Hack hack, cough cough. 

Repeat, repeat, repeat.

And then the questions started. 

And then I was done.

On the plus side she is not in the office tomorrow (roofing repairs at her home)  I'm PRAYING that it will require a 2nd day, so that I know have to deal with her on Thursday and Friday morning.

More importantly, I did it!

.. or rather I didn't do it.

I didn't explode!  

I made it through the day and now I don't have to deal with Typhoid Mary for the next two weeks!

To be honest it was very touch an go... I impressed myself!

#211 I CAN'T TAKE IT MUCH LONGER! (Office FrustraSHawn)

Not sure I'll make it to Friday Afternoon. Typhoid Mary is as virulent as ever.

I told the Boss today (in front of the cesspool of phlegmy coughs) that it\s a good thing Friday is her last day because the disruption is reaching a tipping point.

The person that sits at the desk next to her, opted to work at the Reception desk. She's lucky because she was the receptionist so she can claim having tasks to do, but between you, me, and the rest of the people in our department... we wish we were the Receptionist.

Two days.

Only two days.

#199 Return of the Cougher. FrustraShawn!

So little Miss Cougher is back to her old self... coughing every couple of minutes. 

Someone asked her if she was using her medications and puffers, She replied that she didn't bother renewing the pills and she stopped using the puffers because she didn't like the taste...  O_o 

So now we all have to be annoyed all day long.

If it;s the same on Monday I'll be complaining to HR, And I'm sure i won't be alone.  Cannot start dealing with this again!

Thank God today is Friday.

Well I went to see the Doctor today. (originally the appointment was only for  prescription renewals) but due to the cough that took over the appointment.

I left her office with new prescriptions, a set of blood work and a requisition for some Chest Xrays. Goodie!

Fortunately there's a Radiology Clinic around the corner from my Dr's office and I was literally in and out in under 5 minutes! I was literally in the Xray room 30 seconds after registering. I was just walking into the waiting room, still had my coat on when my name was called. 

I should get a call from the Dr's office tomorrow regarding the results if there's anything of concern. Otherwise I'm off for the rest of the week and I actually managed to take a 2 hour nap this afternoon. Ahhhhh.

Well, I've been fighting off some hell-spawn bug for the past week. It started a week ago as a simple cough. And over time the cough has deepened and intensified.

Now I'm congested and body ache has made the trifecta.

I've been consuming meds of all makes. Gel Caps, Syrups, and Pills.  All sort of help, but all not so much either. 

Today was a day off, and while not what I had in mind, it was fortunate because I don't think I'd have managed the day at work. 

I've got a Dr's appointment on Thursday morning, I just hope I don't lose a lung in the mean time.
